Summit foundation is a Swiss environmental non-profit foundation, also partially supported by the Swiss Confederation
Founded in January 2001, its mission is to reduce the impact that human activities in busy areas have on the environment.
Mostly active in mountains, the foundation focuses on 3 axes
1. Environmental awareness and education : advertising in ski resorts, educational game "Mission Dahu" ;
2. R&D for concrete solutions : pocket bins, recycling stations, playful wall-hung ashtrays ;
3. Waste collection events : support organizers of waste collection days, team-building events, events for the wide public
The Association for the safeguard of The Leman, founded in 1980, is a non-profit French-Swiss association, apolitical, partially supported by the Swiss Confederation. Its daily focus is to look after the aquatic ecosystem, conservation of biodiversity and for The Leman to remain a drinking-water source for the future generations. Its concrete actions, awareness advertising, its animation programs for a young audience or its quarterly newsletter all contribute towards a healthy and long-lasting ecological health of The Leman.
